The Hook Norton Veterinary Group has surgeries in Hook Norton, Charlbury and Deddington, offering professional and caring pet, equine and farm animal care in and around Oxfordshire.
As a practice they strive to provide a traditional yet specialist approach in all aspects of animal care and offer a full range of health care services, provided by a caring and dedicated team of professional and support staff, many of whom have specialist interests and qualifications.
The practice was founded in 1981 and moved to the site at White Hills, Hook Norton in 2002.
These are purpose built premises which house the small animal hospital, equine and farm animal facilities. The equine veterinary team provides a wide range of cover for specialist racing and performance horse stables, thoroughbred and non-thoroughbred studs, as well as general leisure riding horses.
The Equine Stabling and Operating Facilities at White Hills allow an extensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic treatments and surgery under standing or General Anaesthesia. The practice has a separate Isolation Unit for any equine inpatients with infectious diseases. Adjacent to the equine building are two fenced paddocks providing grazing and a separate small paddock and trotting circle. The practice has a fully equipped operating theatre where the highly skilled surgeons routinely perform a wide variety of operations. The practice has some of the latest monitory equipment and an excellent team of anaesthetists, plus three equine nurses to ensure your horse has the best possible care at every stage.
